I woke up with a thought in my head concerning grandad's medicine.

Fo those who don't know me that well, I inherited my grandad's notebooks from the 1930's and I discovered he was interested in #alchemy too.
He built several odd apparati and documented many chemical experiments- most pretty mundane.

His last project before he passed in the early nineties, after a long career in industrial chemistry, was a topical medicine to treat HIV.

He tried to sell the formula to drug companies, but because he did his own clinical trials they took a pass. (Yes, he found volunteers to try it). His descriptive materials were also -obtuse. At best.

I believe this substance has far wider ranging properties and uses than he let on.
I made some last summer. It #stinks to high hell.

Anyway, I woke with the answer to a problem that's been vexing me and puts this medicine firmly back into #alchemy.

I now know which components are represented symbolically by #Mercury, #Sulphur and #Salt. Therefore, I also know their proportions.

I can apply these numerical proportions to other aspects of #alchemy. This could be huge.

Praise the Eyes of Ra for opening my up my vision!
