The David Stirling Memorial. It commemorates the World War Two founder of the SAS and members of the regiment who have died in service. Cambuskenneth Abbey, founded in a loop in the River Forth near Stirling by King David I in 1140. In 1488 King James III was buried here after his murder by an unknown hand, alongside his queen, Margaret of Denmark, who had died in 1486. We went out to watch some of the World Cycling Championship time trials this afternoon. Caught a Spanish rider starting out below Stirling Castle. #cycling #Stirling #StirlingCastle

The second series of #GoodOmens2 is finally out and I’ve made it to the third episode which takes place in #Edinburgh. A few scenes were filmed in #Stirling in the cemetery below the castle. Through the darkness and the fog you can see the Ladies Rock rising over the cemetery. They also filmed at the ruins of Mar's Wark and on down the length of Broad Street.
