If yesterday's post was about shape and flow, we'll today's is about texture and feel.
Again the wood is Robinia (Robinia pseudoacacia).
The texturing was added using the @flexcut.tools folding knife gifted to me by @russelljwest , as well as the ridges on top and scaled facets underneath, it also has subtle convex facets on the sides of the handle.

1st Spoon of 2023, started in 2022, so pleased with how this came out.
Also the first complete spoon I've carved in over 2 months, took longer than I imagined was probably closer to 3 hours than what would probably have been about 2.
