Had my stitches removed on Monday. I can kind of type now that the sting of their removal has faded, but there is still some tenderness in those fingers, and they are swollen and numb still. But its an improvement, so I'll take it.

Might be able now to make better progress on my new Fox & Troll story.

I bought a hand machine, adjusted it as it was shown in the manual and tried sewing, but the machine missed .
I checked lots of long creepy videos on adjusting similar models, but anyway there were no clues what to do in my case.

Yesterday I finally found a useful manual, which helped me solve the problem. It was a manual for a very similar Soviet hand sewing machine from 1991.
Now I suppose I’m a good El*n who learned Russian to access Soviet technological secrets…

i learned in waitressing to say, "behind you!" and i learned in an organic synthesis lab to holler, "are you okay?" any time there was a crash.
I've read about "timberrrrr" and "FORE" but have never gotten to use them.

Big shout out to local craft shop in nearby Cupar. A 0.6mm 🧶 hook for £1.20! And a 2mm for £1.35. I *had* to buy an extra ball of wool to justify paying these prices! 😂 this will help picking up .
