Got a bill from St John for recent ambulance trip to Starship for the toddler. Naïve of me but didn't realise it's not free for young children. We can cope with that but we are more fortunate than a lot or people.

I just find it so wrong that in NZ its not at the very least free for young children

Last weekend, I was up early to support #StJohnAmbulance and our LAS colleagues at the National Service of #Remembrance in London.

Working in large crowds is always an interesting challenge, specially when you're right in the area that's being broadcast live on tv!

I quietly added this to my bio a little bit ago, but hadn't really announced it anywhere public: last month I qualified as a volunteer Emergency Ambulance Crew with #StJohnAmbulance!

Proud to be part of a small team of #StJohnPeople around the country who respond to #999 emergencies on blue lights, both acting as independent clinicians as well as working with our colleagues in the statutory #ambulance service 🚑​
