@heliomass @monnier The pandemic broke a lot of things including transit. Stuff that was baked in to operating practices no longer makes sense. Not surprised to see less capacity offered. That is the map that I also copy/pasted. STM's own map of those routes wasn't as good, IMHO.

STM was doing pretty well with the "10 min max" thing, but IIRC, that fell apart even before the pandemic. The catbus guy did one of the first maps I ever saw emphasizing frequency for bus routes highlighting the 10 min max stuff. Amazing. I wonder if I have a copy ...

That's over $1 BILLION per kilometer,
$1.73B per mile.
And these are PROJECTED numbers.
ACTUAL numbers will easily make this project 25-50% more expensive, increasing the final tab to anywhere from $8 billion to $9.6 billion.

And I'm willing to bet it will actually be more. Just because.

The #STM (and all public agencies in general) need to start using open platforms to provide services
