Whenever I tell old #cycling pals that I’m overweight, chronically fatigued and completely unmotivated nowadays, they invariably answer: “It will come back! 💪”.

This isn’t so much encouragement as it is a clarification that otherwise we won’t be pals anymore.

I’m so old, I was already alive back in the days when #indieWeb folks would cite #Google products as examples of good #UX.

Well, there only was one product, of course, a web page with a logo, an input field and two buttons.

I’m not an optimist myself, and thought it bad design to have a 50% #CTA redundancy on your homepage even back then.

Also, please be advised that if you are an optimist you will probably be dead by easter.
