The dome on the top of the former Garnethill branch of the Glasgow Savings Bank. Unlike most other similar domes on Glasgow buildings, this one is made of stone rather than metal. All in all a beautiful bit of carftsmanship.

Galbraith Stores logo on a shop on Springfield Road in Parkhead.
Galbraith Stores started life as Galbraith and Sons in Paisley in 1894. By 1939, when this shop was built, Galbraith's has 159 grocery stores and 12 butchers shop in the west of Scotland. The company was taken over by Home abd Colonial in 1954.

The wonderfully Art Deco nameplate and stained glass windows above the entrance to the 1907 Parkhead Salvation Army building on Tollcross Road in Glasgow.
Much as I love the font used, I just can't get rid of the nagging suspicion that someone forgot the V in Salvation and had to find a way to squeeze it in later.
