I was at the #Stoneybatter Film Festival on Saturday, where they had a competition for short films. They were all excellent but I want to draw your attention to this one, "The Tell-Tale Heart", which won the competition. Max Hendrickson, the director of this animated adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe's story, is not yet 18. I suspect we'll be seeing a lot more from him.

Anybody feel the air around #Stoneybatter was fucked up this evening? I cycled up manor street around 8 and was coughing and sneezing so much that tears were running down my face. Took an antihistamine, an inhaler, and breathing over a bowl of steaming water to get back to some semblance of normal and I’m still not entirely back yet.

Yesterday evening’s sunset, looking along Arbour Hill in Stoneybatter. These moments, when the sky lights, are all so brief, but so special when they happen…

It reminded me a little of that sample from Little Fluffy Clouds by The Orb;
