The #StopAndShop "soft & gentle" 4-pack of 640 tissues used to be the best deal in the area; I suspect it was a loss leader.
Now, however, they've used the pandemic and inflation as an excuse to massively jack up the price, AND reduced the quality of the tissues.
Costco's 30-pack of Kirkland tissues is now the cheapest, and they're comparable to what Stop & Shop's were before they ruined them.
