The vast majority of small churches pay "Tribute" to a larger organization/individual.
If an individual making $10K is paying 10% Fed Tax, a church can and should pay 5%. If a church can REQUIRE members to pay a % of their salary to them, why not tax them? If a church can use their $$ to influence elections & tax policy, why not tax them?
