Ganz naive Frage: Warum bauen wir uns keine Arche?

Alle sind schwer beschäftigt, das System aufrechtzuerhalten. Oder im Internet dem Dopamin und Fake Status hinterherzulaufen. Es gibt 3-4 Milliarden auf dem Planeten, die die Biosphäre aufheizen, wir müssen ja mit dicken Karren in die Hamsterräder. Danach sind wir zu fertig, noch etwas zu tun. Wir warten online, auf die anderen.

Ich würde vorschlagen, wir legen alle wirklich mal die Füße hoch, entspannen uns mal, machen , treffen uns mal draußen, und reden darüber wie wir leben wollen in Zukunft?

Dieses rumschimpfen auf die da oben ist doch Folklore. Und gegen rechts sein ist nicht Links. Links ist das mit der Emanzipation. Auf die Regeln der Elterngeneration scheissen und seine eigenen zu machen und seine Zukunft selbst zu gestalten. Nicht irgendwelche Muster von einer Generation kopieren, die total versagt hat wie die Generationen davor. Anpassung und Unterwerfung ist halt nicht links. Auch nicht sich in ein Kastensystem einbetonieren und Aktivismus zu simulieren.

Egal wen Du wählst, Springer, die Cops und die Reichen sind immer da.

Aber wenn Wahlen etwas verändern würden, hätte man sie auch längst abgeschafft.

Folklore. Wählen ist das neue Beten oder Briefe an den Weihnachtsmann schreiben. An einen alten, weißen Mann. Weil da immer die Innovationen herkommen.

So, das war verkürzte Kapitalismuskritik. Die da oben. Und wir hier unten? Machen den Dreck mit. 3-4 Milliarden heizen die Atmosphäre auf, und wir machen mit oder schauen online zu und warten, ... auf Politiker oder die anderen. Und boosten weiter, wie scheiße alle anderen sind, und die da oben und dass wir alle sterben werden. Selbsterfüllende Prophezeiung.

Und demotivieren oder ignorieren die, die was tun wollen. Ganz großes Kino, lieber Homo Sapiens.

I do not often plug things. One, I suck at it, two, most things are perfectly good at plugging themselves. For this site, I am making an exception.

We all know that there is a lot of horrible stuff going on in the world. And we do need to be informed about it so we can do something about it.

But what about the stuff that has had things done about it? We hardly ever hear about that.

A few years ago, David Bryne - ex-frontman of Talking Heads, and all-round nice guy, noticed this problem, and started a news site that focuses on solutions from around the world.

Along these lines, I’ve had to set filters for certain social issues here on Mastodon.

It’s not that these issues are not important, it’s just that I don’t need to be reminded how important they are 147 times a day. There’s only so much outrage I can manage.

They are intentionally poorly designed so that some information makes it through, just a lot less of it.

There’s a lot reasons to be upset and maybe even a little (or more than a little) scared/concerned tonight. As always, there’s a lot of darkness out there. If this finds its way into your feed. Take a break. Stop scrolling for a bit and breathe. Remember that each of us has the capacity to light up the dark if we so choose, and in so doing, change the world for the better. Let’s do what we can to take care of each other.
