It's a very controversial massive biomass fired power station. Major import of biomass (something like six ships a day but not sure) depleting wood fuel from overseas at a rate in excess of that which can be grown.

Can't agree as I'm planting / growing coppice for diversity, wildlife and biomass for animal forage, wood fuel and other good stuff.

For sure not everyone is blessed with that ability, not every application of growing wood for fuel is bad either.
