Windy says unconfirmed reports of flight delays in & out of Funchal the now ??

And they've to expect 200-300 litres of rainfall per square meter over the next few days ??

I think I've only ever used this term once . . . This is what we call an "atmospheric river" (if I'm wrong I'm sure I'll be corrected) where the constant source of water just keeps on coming and coming
It's not kicked in proper yet . . . Due to hit Tuesday

STORM OSCAR UPDATE - MADEIRA

Windy says I'm getting bored now wae our weather so just following on from yesterday's post about #StormOscar and #Madeira #Oscar

This is MADEIRA's storm, although it will impact the Canaries as well

Madeira - Strong winds and torrential rain (from Tuesday onwards), although you'll start to feel it's presence later on tonight

Canaries - I'm thinking a wee bit oh rain but mostly WIND for you guys (again from Tuesday onwards)
