@danieln @daniel I’ve been thinking I should move off Goodreads. The only thing is so many people use Goodreads that I find it a really useful resource to see if a book is highly rated or not, so i think I’d end up still going there. But I’d be happy to rate my read books elsewhere.

I’ll need to spend some time to look at #Storygraph and #Bookwyrm.

About a year ago I migrated from #Goodreads to #Storygraph, but I'm frustrated by the experience. Now, I considered just going back to the corpo network. First I'll give #BookWyrm a go (or maybe #Inventaire). Luckily, it also supports importing my #library via a CSV file.

Any tips?

Still working on Priory of the Orange Tree. #StoryGraph says I'm 84% done, so I'm hoping to be finished before next weekend. I've also started listening to Spare by Prince Harry. It's....ok. I have very mixed feelings about many of the things he's writing about.

A new review service is coming for #Serial Fiction!

Solves 3 issues:
1-GoodReads Librarian rules dictate a Serial can't be added until "Complete". Why? Each episode is "published" when made public. Readers want new stories. That's a long time for the 100+EP serials.

2-Serials don't get the love that novels get. There is no reason for this other than assumptions.

3-Many serial platforms. Readers need to see ALL reviews.

Last night I finished up another #book on #music. This time it was The Come Up: An Oral History of the Rise of Hip-Hop by Jonathan Abrams

I rated it a 4.5/5. Great hearing a lot of legends talk about hip hop through out the decades, with my only real gripe being how brief the Midwest hip hop scene discussion was compared to others.
