Today's dinner beer: Elfsborgs lösen, named after the payment Sweden had to pay the Danes twice, in 1571 and 1613, to get the fortress outside today's city of Gothenburg back. Classic porter made by Majornas Bryggeri.

Very empty glass, formerly containing the excellent Kustens porter (name after the area, where many geigraphical names are referring to "the coast") from #MajornasBryggeri . More smooth and chocolatey that a standard porter, unfortunately also alightky stronger (around 9.5 ABV).

BUT why not? #LefthandBrewing Nitro Milk Stout isn’t fancy, but it’s DARN good! It’s got Guinness smoothness and a rich flavor with just the right balance of roast and bitter. Definitely a go-to bottle!
