On the #Train to #Parramatta last week, Western line city-bound, and after a couple quick posts on #Mastodon looked up to see #Strathfield station arriving soon. To be clear, that means I didn’t notice the train stop at Parra station about ten minutes earlier, and had been posting straight through the last 15-20 minutes in a mental cloud.

Was just now waiting for the #Bus home and the bus wasn’t due for five minutes so I figured a few quick toots wouldn’t hurt, and what do you now I look up seemingly seconds later (minutes really) to see the bus barreling by at high speed. Lucky my arms are well trained and my finger shot in the air and the poor bus driver pulled over a few metres past the stop and I got on, apologising.

But Mastodon and #PublicTransport are not a great combination! 🤣

The Strathfield Symphony Orchestra (which I play violin in) will be performing April 1st at Petersham Town Hall!
