In #StreakOfLight, my current Star Wars campaign in development, the one likely nobody will ever play, the " singular prototype carrier " idea is up for debate.
To me, it makes much more sense to have a small strike group, and lose the stealth equip.
It enables the possibility to split the group, to have a specialised ship carrying the EDFS and the converter to produce fuel.
It makes the #ttrpg setting still extremely mobile and even more flexible, as protection priorities may shift during.
