I feel like the mere presence of #cars makes it more #stressful for everyone involved. They are hard to parse, high-risk traffic which makes the stakes high. The noise they produce can really be appreciated in the silence and calm of when you suddenly get to a place without cars. The fact that they can go fast makes it stressful when you can't achieve those speeds (like when there's a #bicycle in front or a traffic jam).

Thirty minutes until the #kids come home. Well 2 out of 3 anyway. #Today hasn't been so #stressful. It certainly could be less stressful though. I didn't sleep well last night so that might explain this strange #mood

1) I’ve almost managed to clear many hours of #sleep debt after trying hard to get my sleep habits under control and to bed at a reasonable time. 😴

2) Did some #DIY and put up a curtain pole so we’ve got curtains at the front of the house again. 🪛

3) Solo-slooped some #SeaOfThieves tonight and survived long enough as a Reaper’s emmisary to make lots of money from them for once. Still winding down after an hour or so. #Stressful 🏴‍☠️

After a #stressful morning writing a rather #emotional essay, it ended with several family #games, #laughter, and a great glass of red #wine 🍷.

@shaun I find people generally #stressful, in addition to other factors like #sounds, #overlapping #speech, etc. While I enjoy interacting with people, the circumstances are stressful/ #draining. Online #community is very helpful, since it avoids the triggers. But it does lack other positive #stimuli.
