“The Friday-night ruling by Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk purporting to stay the Food and Drug Administration’s approval of mifepristone for use in early abortions is a travesty — for women’s health care, principles of democracy, notions of judicial impartiality and the rule of law.” But other than that…
A terrific, thorough op-ed from law prof and #strictScrutiny co-host Kate Shaw. #history #abortion #judiciary #law

@BarbMcQuade #SistersInLaw and #StrictScrutiny have kept me sane through this terrible Court term. I'm not a lawyer, but I never miss an episode.
@LeahLitman @kateashaw1 Thank you! I see the #StrictScrutiny podcast #AffirmativeActionReaction has launched. Despite Justice Brown-Jackson's brilliant "legacy" of a free white North Carolinian 5th generation family versus the legacy of a black formerly enslaved family, I am not optimistic. Haven't heard the podcast yet, but wonder if the anti-affirmative action milieu will cross into the government administrative state as well as the private sector.

@LeahLitman @kateashaw1 So can we all get a shout out to Melissa Murray and make it a perfect trifecta? The week's not complete without your podcast #StrictScrutiny
Listening to the #strictscrutiny episode on the Affirmative Action argument breakdowns because I guess that's how I start my week now.
