Government to our striking work force:
“There isn’t any money left”
Any chance of some pay back from the ridiculously failed Test and Trace or pointless Nightingale hospital project to fund #NHSpay #NHSnurses #StrikingNHSstaff.
The government have literally been taking us all for fools. And for us as a nation to let it get this far, maybe we are!

@mirror I was a #RMN until I had to take early retirement and the truth is NHS staff have not had a real terms pay rise in well over a decade, probably closer to 2. Too often there has been no pay rise at all. Alternatively the rise has been 1% per year (but announced as 3%over 3 years). Either way that amounted to year on year pay cuts after inflation. #NHSworkers are long overdue a decent pay rise ergo I am fully behind #strikingNHSstaff.
