(1/2) Many of you probably know him from his work with Peter Gabriel, Neneh Cherry, and other European and US musicians. In his home country Senegal, everyone just calls him “You” and he’s a superstar who easily fills Dakar’s huge soccer stadium but still performs in small clubs after midnight. I was lucky enough to see him at both venues.
