Went to the #Dutch festival in Melbourne today. Most certainly not for the music (Accordeon-Ensembles playing Nick & Simon was in the top 10 reasons to actually leave the #Netherlands in the first place) but definitely enjoyed the food and bookstalls and the historical societies. Kibbeling, Haring, Fresh #Stroopwafels, and some Marten Toonder and Rien Poortvliet books were a good haul.

I’d never heard of #stroopwafels until I’d seen them on #TheGreatBritishBakeOff (#TheGreatBritishBakingShow in the US because of a stupid trademark infringement worry). I think they were a technical challenge.
