Good final episode.

1️⃣ As an ending this works. But it leaves so many things up in the air, I can only hope there is a second series. Does the novel also stop here?

2️⃣ I started watching for #GemmaArterton. Because, yes, I’m completely smitten with her. (And have been since #StTrinians. I freely admit it.) But, of course, everyone loves a good underdog story and I got invested in Barbara’s journey to stardom.

Ah, the latest '#Matilda', based on the #Musical and #EmmaThompson being cast as #Trunchbull now don't get me wrong, she's very good however she's not a patch on #BertieCarvel who made the character absolute dynamite on the stage. Such a shame Bertie wasn't re-cast for the film, they missed a trick.

There are some nice little nods to #StTrinians as well, classic #BritishComedy. Well worth a watch.
