Da ich mehrere openwrt-router betreuue, war das Ziel, den recht umständlichen upgrade-Prozess nach Einrichtung des routeres mit #stubby & #adblock entsprechend der Anleitung auf kuketz-blog.de (https://t1p.de/7g9kj) zu vereinfachen bzw. weitestgehend zu automatisieren. Using upstreams in DK, LU and CH.
My quick tests for fosstodon.org in a Docker container running stubby-only (without dnsmasq) resulted in answering times always < 300ms.

This is nice, because the bootstrapping process ("reseed") gets better protected. It's using a small set of non-logging DNS servers (via DoT). #privacy #security
