#Disability is ignored in much the same way as death. When you go out in public, most people seem fine. This is both because disability can be invisible and because you are only seeing a sliver of the real world. Adults and children with disabilities can often be stuck at home, or in care homes, or in hospitals. Public places can be playgrounds for the able-bodied, and they paint a very inaccurate picture of reality.
