Every single person screaming about #studentloanforgiveness could have taken the COVID stimulus bucks and put them to their government student loans. Essentially giving the money back and freeing themselves. But those screaming did not. We did even when we got laughed at by people telling us to wait for the loans to be cancelled. I told them this then. What we were doing and did. But we were wrong right? Wrong.

If you have federal student debt and were enrolled in the income-based repayment plan, definitely look into this and see if you can have your debts cancelled!

@MJ this is excellent news, most people will be have 36 months of forbearance total over 20 years but VERY FEW people will have “12 or more months of consecutive forbearance” because most servicers only do 3 to 6 months at a time so they can capitalize the interest at the end of that forbearance period.
