I should note that you can move away from the #hashtag by clicking elsewhere in the toot with your mouse. But this is a bit awkward when you are typing and also doesn't remove the drop down menu which gets in the way of the options at the bottom of the type-message box, and hides your character count - so is also a bit #stupids

I sometimes add my hashes at the end of my #toot because I'm not sure what the #hashtags should be while I'm writing and I don't know how many characters I have spare to give to hashtags. But when doing this, the drop down menu effectively traps the caret on the word until you've pressed enter to spacebar. This means you end up having to edit out spaces or new lines - which is a bit #stupids

I suppose a simple [none] option in the drop down menu would do - or if the menu respected your capitals

Can you sort out the #hashtag option menu? It really annoys me.

If you write a #toot with a hashtag you can just press spacebar to ignore the options. But if you want to start a new line, you have to press spacebar or enter a symbol then enter - which is a bit #stupids.

However, if you decide to select one of the options from the drop down menu, it will always take away the capital letters from your hashtag - which is also #stupids and removes #CamelCase
