compared to the #9EuroTicket which you could just buy with cash on a vending machine and only had to write your name on to make it valid [since it's not transferable] the #49EuroTicket is a massive #downgrade that is #SubscriptionOnly and does shitty #CreditCheck bs.

BOTH are only done to enshure those that would benefit from it can't get it - like poor people with trash #CreditScore|s and kids that ain't eligible for #SchoolBus #ticket schemes.

Were the #49EuroTicket not #SubscriptionOnly.and.thus not obtainable for non-residents with good credit ratings but just buyable like the #9EuroTicket then a lot of people would ditch their cars because they'd save much more and didn't have the inconveniences of a car with them, benefiting everyone incl. those that can't!

The fact that Germany #downgraded the #9EuroTicket that one could just get at any ticket sale machine and shop to a #SubscriptionOnly successor is the main problem, not that it's cost rose to be a #49EuroTicket!

OFC that won't help those that live in villages with no #PiblicTranspoet whatsoever!
