Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP es el nombre del remake del juego de acción y humor que nos presentó a Juliet Starling, una cheerleader que lucha contra una invasión zombi con su novio decapitado colgando de su cinturón. El juego está escrito por #JamesGunn, quien más tarde triunfaría con las películas de Guardianes de la Galaxia y El Escuadrón Suicida, y dirigido por #Suda51, creador de obras como The Silver Case o No More Heroes.

El juego tendrá gráficos y jugabilidad mejorados, pero mantendrá el estilo único y desenfadado que lo caracteriza. La música corre a cargo de Akira Yamaoka, conocido por sus composiciones para la saga Silent Hill, y la voz de Tara Strong, actriz que ha dado vida a personajes como Harley Quinn o Raven.

Lollipop Chainsaw se publicó en 2012 para PlayStation 3 y Xbox 360, y se convirtió en un juego de culto por su mezcla de acción, gore, humor negro y referencias a la cultura pop. Sin embargo, los fans tendrán que esperar un poco más para disfrutar del remake, ya que Dragami Games ha anunciado que el lanzamiento se retrasa hasta verano de 2024, debido a su compromiso con ofrecer la mejor calidad posible a los jugadores.

#Suda51 is my favorite writer in video games. His dialogue at its worst reads like an issue of Playboy from the 60s being translated into Japanese and machine-translated back into English, But at his best, he writes like David lynch inspired haiku that Samuel Becket has proofread and approved of.

In #MichiganReportfromHell erlebt ihr die Geschichte aus der Sicht eines Kameramanns, der mit seiner Crew ein etwas anderes Horrorabenteuer erlebt. Mit der Kamera untersucht man die Umgebung, kann auf alles Mögliche gucken, auch auf Dinge, wo es unhöflich ist hinzustarren. Je nachdem was man anguckt, bekommt man Punkte für Suspense, Erotic oder Immoral.

This #Manga is my favorite thing Suda 51 has made.

I adore killer 7 and no more heroes but there is something to be said about the maturity of this piece.

It is like sitting with a zen master who has received a spiritual transmission from the lineage of "1980's Japanese arcades". Great stuff.

Flower Sun and Rain is a game that you can only describe in a way that makes it sound like a terrible experience.

That gameplay consists of walking a lot, solving code based puzzles and talking to characters that make no sense.

It sounds awful but it's so good. Gosh, do I love it! Thanks, Suda.

I don't think many will enjoy it as much as I do, but I still think it's worth experiencing it even if you end up hating it.
