Well that was a fairly tense episode of #SugarAppleFairyTale.

J'attendais de voir où ça allait, mais après le 8e ep, je peux confirmer que #SugarAppleFairyTale est ma hidden gem de cette saison.
Personnage épatant, super world building, de la politique, de l'humour, un chara design et une palette de couleur magnifique et beaucoup d'emotions.

Bit of a dark turn there in #SugarAppleFairyTale. I imagine there’s a fair bit of harassment coming Anne’s way in the next episode or two, which won’t be a lot of fun to watch.

Interesting episode of #SugarAppleFairyTale - I’m calling the Duke morbid in his fascination but not evil. And he did pay Anne in the end.

But certainly the scene at the end of Anne’s prayers for her mother was MUCH healthier emotionally.

I’m struggling to think of a character I’ve had a more visceral dislike for in recent year than Jonas in #SugarAppleFairyTale

The thing is, and judging by the OP, I’m sure he’ll get a redemption arc that he doesn’t deserve because that’s the kind of show #SugarAppleFairyTale is.

Definitely not a fan of Jonas: Arsehats gonna Arsehat.

That said, I’m not sure I like the situation Anne is in right now, something feels off. #SugarAppleFairyTale

@shoshoctopus #SugarAppleFairyTale has some early unfortunate implications re slavery and is heteronormative but has evolved into a really sweet story that I’m really enjoying.

Despite some of my earlier concerns #SugarAppleFairyTale has grown into a really sweet tale that I can whole-heartedly enjoy.

Just don’t do what Jonas did: Anne has one HELL of a slap in her if you deserve it (and he did. oh boy did he ever).

I’m half wondering if that slap was the reason Challe called her Anne once instead of Scarecrow. 😂
