There are lots of #birds out there, but mostly the usual suspects, like the #titmouse. The #redbud tree is budding (attended by a #bee), the #maple is blooming (not sure if it is a #sugarmaple or a male #boxelder tree) and that ubiquitous spring flower that appears in empty lots, #butterweed , is blooming. #photos #nature #birds #wildflowers #bloomingtrees

Looks like the big #SugarMaple #Acer_saccharum in front of my house is scheduled for removal shortly. Sadly, this species is quite intolerant of road salt and our tendency to have droughts in summer have likely not helped things. It’s had a good run and has apparently already been a fairly large tree in 1915!
