I’ve played at the Portage Farmers Market 9 times this season. except for last week, when I played one song, & then it rained like a cow pissing on a flat rock, this week has been the worst so far.

played one hour, for $11.

last band I busked with at Pike Place Market was Transient Vultures. an ad hoc band led by Jack Devore, & put together from whomever was in the Market that day & part of the transient crew.

my 25% split was mostly $60 or more.

fuck this town.

last week I believed the weather guessers and decided not to go busking. it turned out sunny and kind. this week I decided to listen to the weather guessers, but I’d rather take the chance.

they were right, and it was too drizzly to play.

who the fuck do they think they are, Seattle?

now it’s been two weeks with no income.

I sometimes think a bullet to the brain would be my best bet.
