I just LOVE the new Summarizer on the Brave search engine.

Their info is just so on point.
Plus it provides better / more detailed info then what Duckduckgo is doing with their Duckasist.

It is a real time saver.

Plus for me Brave search gives me, overall, the best results.

And I prefer their privacy policy over all other engines.

I often use #Quillbot's (quillbot.com) #Summarizer to extract compact & streamlined summaries from key paragraphs in the articles posted to #Mastodon. Works much faster & comes up with better summaries than #BingAI BUT you still have to check whether important key words or phrases were omitted.

No getting around reading & digesting the whole article to get the nuances right, #GenerativeAI tools are useful but not in the driver's seat.

Ihre Korrespondenzpartner sind dagegen dazu übergegangen, Mails zuerst durch einen (ebenfalls ChatGPT-getriebenen) #Summarizer zu lassen, um trotzdem noch halbwegs effizient zu sein.

Mit dieser "inversen Kompression" hat #KI das Ziel der Vereinfachung unseres Lebens ad absurdum geführt.
