Back-to-School Tradition: My boys are on a Phineas and Ferb marathon before the new school year kicks in. Seems like this has become an annual ritual for them! Can't blame them though, it's an awesome show!

Today starts the first of 3 weeks when the kindergarten is closed. Our 1 yo and 3 yo are staying home while both parents are trying to work.
In reality, neither of us will get much work done effectively spending all of the possible time off we have in our disposal.

There's not a moment when we can relax over the next weeks. After this time, there's a huge rush to catch up with all the slack caused by the inattention.

Over the last few days, I have been renovating my office to better suit my needs as a . I removed the soundproofing and painted almost all the walls and ceiling black. I left one wall on a plastered concrete surface so it can serve as a unique backdrop. I still need to add rails to the ceiling for the lights, as the space is fairly small and I want to keep the floor as clean as possible.

經歷了各種意外、漫長的隊伍和飛機的一再延誤，從我離開巴黎的家，十二個小時後終於落地伊斯坦堡，據說來接我的朋友之一在等候時已經睡了一覺。直到我重新冒泡給他們發消息前，他們還在開玩笑可能要到半夜才能見到我。

Anyway, 我終於來到了這個貓之城。

“Like a dream! I can believe we are now in Turkey!" 吃了一餐滿意的家常菜，計劃好了今天的行程，睡了一個好覺，我活過來了～🌞

It's nice today. The rain has subsided, the warmth has returned (but it's no longer suffocating) and today is last day at my cafe job before the vacation starts.

I'm gonna miss the place for the next 3 weeks. It's a definite stable part of my life and I’ll be at a loss for what to do in the downtime.
