The Suncor refinery is going to close sometime in the next decade. And that will be a good thing. The question is if we're going to plan for and manage that closure or if folks will follow the usual climate change path of pretending it's not happening ...

Children live in communities around #Suncor where the homes have little value and their parents are stuck. The kids have asthma, nose bleeds, cancer, and miss a lot of school due to illness. Local news wants us to care that gas prices will go up while Suncor is not operating. I'd rather see kids able to breathe.
