Video survey of #WWI German U-boat discovered off Shetland

The submarine UC-55 was sunk in 1917 by the Royal Navy around eight miles south-east of Lerwick, with 11 crew members dying and the survivors being taken as prisoners of war.

Now, 106 years later, divers aboard the Stromness boat Valhalla have found the submarine almost in the same condition as she was left.

When your spell checker can't make the suggestion that is one character off: WTF REALLY!!!

I'm such a horrible speller that a spell checker alone can save me. I'm convinced that at least half of my web search queries are phonetic spellings in search of the "correct" #spelling.

Spelling in the English language: memorizing the exceptions to "rules" that only apply about 50% of the time.

Like most Americans, I'm mono-linguistic. #Sunk-cost fallacy will likely keep me that way. 😅
