At 23, she was a #SunMaid #Raisin girl.
One morning, after her #Mom had set her hair into eight long black #Curls, Lorraine swapped her blue bonnet for her mother’s red one. As she stood in her yard in #Fresno, Sun-Maid executives & their wives walked by & asked about the red bonnet.
Lorraine became the face of the company. Her image was on every box of #Raisins. Today the #Smithsonian has the #Red #Bonnet.
