Alright! This is a better photo, the previous was really blurry do to the way the pixel shift composition didn't properly correct for the rotation of the moon! This is my cleanest single frame that I took of the super blue moon! Some moonshots on Day 2 of my mini-holiday break.
First blue moon photos for me I think. One of my best shots of the moon with this camera (Nikon D5300) and lens ( Nikon 18-300mm zoom at full zoom).
The clouds looked bad but finally parted to give me a decent shot. It’s a little past ‘full’ but I prefer how that works with the shadows.

here's a composite of the moon, rising last night. We had some wildfire smoke.
The pic is a composite because in order to get the haze/smoke around it I had to vastly overexpose the moon itself. This doesn't quite capture how it looked, but it's a fair approximation.
Part of the credit has to go to my neighbor for getting me out to look. I'm not a big fan of full moons, unless there's a lunar eclipse involved.
