Friends: if you’re playing the original #SUPERHOT card game (published by Board & Dice) and are struggling with the rules, the new version (published by Greyfox games) has *much* clearer instructions and actually changes a certain mechanic fundamentally for the better.

I still can’t beat it, mind you, but I’ll be damned if I don’t keep on trying, bullets flying and all 😅

Slowly getting better at #SUPERHOT The Card Game. It’s not that complicated, but there’s a certain flow of the cards from the play area (The Line) to your hand and back again that needs getting used to.

I’ve managed to beat one level (out of three!) but I keep succumbing to ALL. THOSE. FLYING. BULLETS.

Small tip for anyone new to playing #SUPERHOT The Card Game: the instructions don’t make this clear at all, but you gotta remove the two “Dude with a Baseball Bat” cards from the obstacle deck before starting!

These are advanced cards that are used to increase the difficulty, and are not part of the initial game.

The instructions vaguely mentions these way after it’s told you to “shuffle all obstacle cards”

Got #superhot running on an iMac from 2011! Performance could be better but it’s playable so I’m happy

I just finished the #SUPERHOT base game. Probably the shortest game I ever played but I really enjoyed it and will definitely spend more time with it in the endless arenas. Might try it with a gyro controller again, using a keyboard limits control but using a stick is annoying. The game does not *need* fast aiming though. I just want it.

@glassbottommeg the only "recorder features" I know of are in-engine event recorders that don't record the screen output but re-render it.

Kinda like #GMod, #SUPERHOT, #Trackmania Nations Forever and every other game that has a #replay / #sharing feature integrated.

This also reduces the amount of data, since it's just rendering directions and coordinates over time and not a videostream.

The game SUPERHOT definitely is made for the gyro. 😃

3D "shooter", no fast reflexes required, definitely need to be able to look all around you. This might be more fun than when I played it on the PC.

Beat #superhot on my #SteamDeck this morning. Had a lot of fun. Challenging, but never unfair, and plays more like a puzzle game than a shooter. Fits really well with my annoyingly-cautious method of playing most action games.

After quite some time I started up PS4 and found this surprise. "Time moves when you move", leet!

It all looks familiar but I can't remember where I've seen something similar.

#superhot #VR is such an amazing game. Really a fantastic way to show how VR can be a transformative experience.

@namenotfound @darth @LadyParadis Theres some amazing VR experiences. Loved #SuperHot. #VaderImmortal was cool cause Im a #StarWars mark lol. And I absolutely loved #Metroid Prime in VR.

Think what you will about Stadia but gotta give this one to #Google for once doing the right thing. They refunded pretty much everything and released a firmware update to allow Stadia controller work as a generic Bluetooth controller. (although it should have been that way from the beginning). I never had the controller so dunno if it was any good
