Cool. Latest SuperNote firmware upgrade has some nice features. The one I like is the built-in websever to transfer files. No more relying on Google/Dropbox/other services.

I've wanted an #E-InkTablet for years, but never enough to actually research them. Turns out people have been making them for years.

I am just now realizing that I've forgotten a lot of algebra, since CAD and standard reference tables have largely eliminated the need for me to calculate anything by hand. 😿

So, my #Supernote tablet is simultaneously a neat little thing that should make my life a lot easier, and also the cause of a small crisis in my life. Fun.

Un altro prodotto interessante, e più economico, è il #reMarkable2, ma anche qui la giuria è abbastanza divisa. Idem il #supernote, che però ha un prezzo simile al #boox. Evito il #kindle Scribe a prescindere, in quanto prodotto Amazon.

Molto probabilmente vincessi 500€ non ci penserei due volte, ma a questo prezzo rimane un po' fuori dalla mia portata.

A little bit of D.I.Y for my final day of my mini break.

Bought a $7 notebook from Kmart with a fake leather cover to make a new cover for my Supernote A6X e-ink writing tablet.

Much nicer than the stock covers, has a better space for my Lamy pen, is way cheaper than the offical leather case and it has a handy pocket on the front to store the book light I occasionally use with it (Supernote has no front lights).

The current #Kindle Paperwhite is too small for ready technical ebooks. I have 12.9” iPad Pro but it is too heavy and too bright to read at night. The Fire HD plus is right size but Android Kindle app is bad.

The Kindle Scribe is a big enough for me and price is reasonable. However, note taking is terrible. #Supernote and #Boox Air Note 2+ are great for note taking but not too much on eReader.

#Remarkable 2? Great pen/paper replacement but not a good #eReader.

I have a goldilocks problem.

Picked up a #supernote this week. So far it feels great to write with and read on!

Thank you for posting this. I've looked into Obsidian and it is spectacular. My only wishlist item would be for a way for it to interface well with my #SuperNote.

Spent an inordinate amount of time watching YouTube videos and reading Reddit comments to figure out if an #eReader with #eNotebook capabilities is worth buying for annotating ePub and PDF #ebooks.

The #SuperNote #A5X seemed the most promising but it has no backlight. Without backlight, #eInk screens look much too grey and dull to me. I wish they were whiter, more akin to books than newspapers.

Conclusion: I’ll stick to my #Kobo Forma and splurge on a Moleskine and Lamy pen for note taking.

Oh man. Just found out about this SuperNote X5 - something-thing and it looks amazing. I'm always packing two notebooks. One for sketching and one for notetaking. This thing could replace them... I think. #SuperNote #SuperNotea5x
