If you meet a Shetland pony at dusk, be careful they are not a njuggle, Shetland's mythical water horse.Njuggles appear friendly, tempting weary travellers, but when they feel a rider on their back they return to the depth, taking the human with them #Shetland #SuperstitionSat

The Wallace collection in #London has one of the best collections of #medieval #armour in the world. Including one of only three surviving sets of c13C #horse armour. This is pretty much what Richard III would have worn (well his horse anyway). With my #folklore hat on I couldn’t help noticing the little ‘kilroy’ face embossed into the bottom of the face plate. Some sort of #superstition surely - any thoughts? #history #SuperstitionSat
