Googling around randomly, I found some studies that show if you're a /#obese woman, might not be a good idea. If I understand correctly, iron can increase your inflammation levels, unabsorbed iron may disrupt the gut microbiome, and obesity decreases iron absorption despite a higher iron intake in obese people. So supplementation might not be advised? I'm a vegetarian woman. I wish my doctor(s) told me that. sciencedirect.com/science/arti
