I don't even have a Twitter account to purge, but am so horrified by what's happening with it that I felt compelled to open a Mastodon account. I especially like that Mastodon can't be bought (and subsequently annihilated by demented buyers). Attacks on/censorship of journalists in particular makes my skin crawl.
