#nowplaying the very best version of american pie IMO but i'll leave that to others to decide. the #supportworker i had well one of them in 2020 loved that song as much as i did. fun times them with the guitar, us both on vocals doing the verses we liked the best. aw fun times. voice cracks sometimes trying to sing it along with the not so good backing track.

Just interviewed and hired another support worker to my care team. He starts on the 25th of January, on a fortnightly 2hr cooking and cleaning basis. So excited!

Every Doctor that died trying to save people with #COVID is heart breaking, but so is every #Nurse & every #SupportWorker. I think all of those deserve the same honouring as doctors. Sadly they are often overlooked. These peoole earn very little for what they do & are still extremely dedicated. I know I was a nurse, all be it Mental health. My ex work partner was one of those working to help COVID patients too. They deserve much more than having had a few months of being clapped once a week tbh.
