Friendly reminder that the way Mastodon instances work is that the admins have server costs, maintenance costs and other stuff that they need to pay for each and every month to keep the instance up and running for all users.

If you have a chance and you can afford even just one dollar, think about supporting your admin(s) and throwing a little donation to them.

@mijustin the problem I see with overloading feeds is the strain it may put on the individual servers/hosts.
I've read many longtime users even set their toots to disappear at intervals.
I've begun contributing the $8 to my admin. better than the alternative to help offset costs to keep #fedverse growing.
