Just a friendly reminder that admins and mods do a lot of various things for the instances they run. Server costs aren't cheap, time isn't cheap to keep things running so any time users donate to those costs it's always greatly appreciated!

Myself and @kylewritescode here at #AllThingsTech appreciate any donation that's made and those donations go directly to the costs of the servers that run the instance, wiki, blog and so much more. (cont...)

OR find your own admin, they're often hung upside down by their tails, they're primarily nocturnal and feign death on attack. Hissing means they love you.

It still amazes me how I don’t miss twitter at all. I was addicted to it for years and never thought I’d leave, then the change at the top made me doubt it, the reinstating of banned users made me drift away, and then what they did to the third party apps made me close the door.

Community in here is so much nicer, encouraging, affirming. And @ivory just makes it perfect. Mastodon rules.

To me, moving to Mastodon was liberating. I want Mastodon to be capable of absorbing future migration waves and maintain its independence.

I have one main account and two side accounts on other servers. I can't afford much, but I think Elon Musk's infamous 8-dollar (8-pound) fee is a good starting point for a monthly contribution to each server.
