Spent the early afternoon helping the local parks department plant trees and collect trash at one of our parks.

Also got unofficial permission to plant natives in the parks 🤣 It sounds like the budget for our parks department isn’t high, so they’re happy to take free help as long as I put in the work to make sure it’s native and not invasive.
