Some countries don't have #USA's fucked up infrastructure and #CarDependent #SurburbanSprawl, so one might very well be able to live their entirely life without a car (which is much preferable for the health reasons alone, nevermind all the others).

Conversely, in vast swathes of USA you cannot be a pedestrian without a death wish. Because there is no infrastructure to support your safe existence.
