75 followers · 47 posts · Server fosstodon.orgI've had my Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 for about 1.5 years, and the fn key doubling as a modifier and a toggle is still the same tiny-but-huge usability flaw as is was to begin with. Muscle memory does not learn to compensate!
So, I'm wondering: Does anyone know anyone who have figured out if this can be fixed somehow?

I have a nearly identically sized PowerBook G4 but I don't think I've tried to take it around to e.g. coffee shops and libraries, just to hotel rooms. It's not huge, but I'm just wanting others' experiences and wondering if I should look for the 13" one instead if my bid on a 15" i7 16GB falls through since I do really like a 13" laptop.
